本人一直致力于用第一性原理方法对新型功能材料微结构与物理性能的研究和探索。开展了对铝-稀土和镁-稀土二元金属间化合物的热力学性质、电子结构以及力学性质等的研究；对具有Cr5B3型的Si化物以及Te基新型热电材料物理性能的理论研究。已经过近年来的努力，在材料、物理和化学领域，取得了一点成绩。已经在国内外著名期刊如PhysicalReviewB、Intermetallics、JournalofAlloysandCompounds、theJournalofPhysicalChemistryA、JournalofElectronicMaterials、JournalofSolidStateChemistry等国际刊物上发表了60余篇科研论文，SCI收录50余篇，论文SCI引用300余次，H因子为9.获奖及荣誉
