Professional Experience Before he joined UM in 2009, he taught DaF at universities in Australia, New Zealand, and Shanghai/China. In promoting and teaching German language and culture in Macau, Marco has maintained strong ties with Goethe Institute and the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Hong Kong. Education Marco Pohl received his MA in English, Russian Literature, and teaching German as a Foreign Language (DaF) from the Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany.

His research interests are English and German literature and translation.
