个人简介
1990, Albion College, B.A. 1998, University of Florida, M.S. Mark Morris specializes in the molecular mechanisms governing cancer development, progression and potential treatment. Morris has investigated multiple biological mechanisms including determining a putative genetic location for Tourette's syndrome and genetic risk factors for Alzheimer's disease. His most recent work has focused on the molecular mechanism of tumor suppressors, specifically prohibitin and p73, in cancer development and cancer survival or re-occurrence. He has collaborated with Michael Carastro, associate professor of chemistry, on some of this recent work. Morris has published nine peer-reviewed research papers and presented work at major scientific conferences, including the 2000 World Alzheimer's Conference.
