I graduated in 1978 from the Welsh School of Pharmacy with an Honours degree in Pharmacy and in 2001 I was awarded a Diploma in Community Clinical Pharmacy at Aston University. I have also studied Medicines Management and Medical Ethics at Keele University. I began working in community pharmacist manager in 1980 and have been involved in training since then including pharmacists, preregistration trainees and technicians I have worked for Lanarkshire Health Board as a palliative care pharmacist and had a brief spell as Lead Pharmacist in East Renfrewshire CHCP I first worked at Strathclyde in 2002 as a Teacher Practitioner and joined in the University in 2009 on a part time basis
