I joined the university in 2005 and Im currently a lecturer with teaching commitments on the MPharm and MSc Clinical Pharmacy programme. I am also a registered pharmacist and have clinical commitments within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde in the Department of Child and Family Psychiatry as an Advanced Psychiatric Pharmacist. I also hold a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Nottingham (1997). My doctorate from the Univ of Strathclyde was concerned with clinical information provision for lay persons in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (2010) I am a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Conference Research Panel and also represent the university at the Area Pharmaceutical Committee for NHSGGC.

My research interests largely stem from my clinical work and experiance of Mental Health service delivery. However, I am also interested in developing the role of the (Community) pharmacy team within mental health service delivery and palliative care.
