My research interests are focused on the neuroinflammatory events taking place in chronic neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s and prion. Our main goal is to address how microglial cells contribute to these pathologies and to test the efficacy of innovative therapeutic approaches in modulating markers of central inflammation.
