Anne is a registered nurse, midwife and independent prescriber. She has extensive experience of advanced clinical practice and medicines management, and practised as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, and Consultant Nurse in Unscheduled Care, for many years. While in these roles Anne made a major contribution to the development of innovative nurse-led community and primary care services and the education and development of nurses working in these areas. As Head of Clinical Standards she was responsible for leading the clinical governance and standards agenda in an NHS Community Trust.
