研究领域
My research is primarily focused on plant physiological responses to atmospheric carbon dioxide: impacts on plant processes (productivity, anatomy and biochemistry, disease, soil processes). More recently I have engaged in applied research on climate change mitigation: Carbon Capture Storage and Transport (CCS) effects on vegetation and the soil environment as well as research into low carbon solutions for industry: biomass substitute for fossil fuels in the steel industry. I work closely with industry to effect best practice as we move towards mitigating effects of climate change.
