个人简介
I have worked in the fields of biomedical science and clinical research for over 20 years. I am currently a senior lecturer at the University of Salford where I teach at masters and undergraduate level in drug design and biomedical science. I have a BSc (Hons) in biochemistry and a PhD in medicinal chemistry from the University of Manchester. After finishing my PhD I spent many years as a scientist in clinical research and medical oncology at the Christie hospital in Manchester, UK before becoming a biology lecturer at the University of Huddersfield.
My hobbies out of work include spending time on my allotment, flying light aircraft and working as a part-time fire-fighter.
研究领域
I currently offer PhD projects in design of new cancer therapeutics, antimicrobial drug discovery, applications of glycomics in medical diagnosis and molecular drug design.
