Justin received a BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences (Part II in Chemistry) from Cambridge University, and his PhD from Trinity College, Dublin. After a period of postdoctoral research at Durham University working with Professor David Parker, Justin was appointed to a lectureship in organic chemistry at Northumbria University in 2000. From May 2011, Justin will be the Honorary Secretary of the Newcastle and North East Coast local section of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
