个人简介
I joined the University of Northumbria in January 2010 having previously worked at the University of Nottingham. Prior to this I worked as Reader in Health and Social Care and Head of the Centre of Research in Healthcare at Liverpool John Moores University. I have a longstanding interest in chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions and completed a PhD in 1992 in Northern Ireland which was funded by a Department of Health research scholarship. My research interests reflect my professional backgrounds and focus on conditions at the interface of psychology, medicine and rehabilitation in which I have published extensively including contribution to national and European Guidelines.
