Vice-Chancellor Postdoctoral Fellow
所属大学: University of New South Wales
所属学院: School of Chemistry
个人简介
Vivek obtained his bachelors from the American College, Madurai in 2001. He pursued his masters (in 2004) and doctoral (in 2009) studies at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (Bangalore, India), under the supervision of Prof. C. N. R. Rao. Between 2010-2012, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Chemistry, Northwestern University (Research Supervisor - Prof. Teri Odom). He is currently the Vice-Chancellor Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Chemistry and The Australian Centre of Nanomedicine, UNSW Australia (Mentor - Prof. Justin Gooding).
研究领域
I am broadly interested in understanding chemical interactions at the nanoscale and exploiting these interactions to construct functional devices for renewable energy storage and biomedical sensors.
Current research interest include:
Digital Assay based Biosensors Electrochemical Surface Plasmon Spectroscopy Stimuli-responsive Plasmonic Materials Fluorescence Localization Microscopy
