研究领域
Nanoscience & Materials Chemistry/Inorganic & Organometallic Chemistry
Our group is interested in two areas: low band gap organometallic and organic materials for transistors, light emitting diodes and solar cells and new vapochromic and vapo-luminescent compounds for electronic nose sensor arrays. We use a combination of organic and organometallic chemistry, X-ray crystallography, electrochemistry, UV-vis and emission spectroscopy methods to study these problems. Structures of a platinum sensor compound (above) and a transistor material (below) are shown.
