Our group applies our analytical chemistry expertise to solve challenging biological problems. We are developing high speed microdialysis-capillary electrophoresis assays that allow us to measure neurochemistry in the brain as it happens. We are also developing faster and more effective selection techniques to discover protein or peptide binding DNAs and RNAs that can be used as drugs, diagnostics or catalysts.
