个人简介
Suelen Barg joined the University of Manchester in 2015 as a lecturer in structural materials. Prior to her appointment she was an Intra-European Marie Curie Fellow following a postdoc at Imperial College London in the Centre for Advanced Structural Ceramics (CASC). She received a PhD in Engineering from the University of Bremen, Germany and a degree in Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil.

My research encompasses the design of novel colloidal processing approaches for the development of structural and functional materials. Specific aspects include: Surface engineering and assembly of 2D nanomaterials 3D printing of complex fluids Cellular materials and aerogels Bio-inspired composites Multi-scale structure and property relations in complex materials My current research interests particularly focus on the integration of 2D nanomaterials into complex architectures and nanocomposites for energy, environmental, biomedical, and structural applications.
