Mark Goodwin is originally from Malmesbury in Wiltshire. He has degrees in psychology and the biological sciences, an MA in education, and a PhD in developmental biology from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Leicester. Before joining the GENIE CETL in 2006, Mark worked for the British Library’s Primary Communications Research Centre, the UK Government’s Overseas Development Administration and The Open University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology, a member of the Genetics Society, a member of the British Psychological Society, and a Senior Fellow and Academic Associate of the Higher Education Academy
