个人简介

Dr. Jones received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida College of Medicine: PA Program in 2002. She practices clinically within the Department of Family and Community Medicine and provides pharmaceutical education within the Family Practice medical residency program. Dr. Jones’ educational interests involve interprofessional education within the classroom and clinical practice settings. Teaching responsibilities include areas of basic physical assessment, simulation, primary care, and communication. She is a Fellow of the University’s Center for Interprofessional Healthcare Education, Research, and Practice (CIHERP) and is a board member of the Salvation Army Clinic in collaboration with the College of Medicine. Dr. Jones serves the College as faculty advisor for the KAPS Community Outreach Committee; she is chair of the Education and Credentialing Committee for the Center for the Advancement of Pharmacy Practice (CAPP). Dr. Jones also serves on the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy Professionals Recovery Network (KY-PRN) Committee. Her research interests include Interprofessional education and collaborative practice, Medical Error Disclosure, innovative and sustainable models of pharmacist-delivered patient care, and issues surrounding the advancement of pharmacy practice.
