Professor Kenneth S. Schweizer received his B.S. degree, summa cum laude from Drexel University and a PhD in physics from the University of Illinois in 1981. Following a two-year postdoctoral position at AT&T Bell Laboratories, he was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. He joined the faculty at Illinois in 1991.
