Andrew Craft has a background in physical chemistry and materials science with a focus on thermodynamic and mechanical properties of metals and alloys. Craft has done extensive research into the absorption of hydrogen by metals and alloys and the effects of this absorption on the properties of the metal. Craft’s work in this field has been published in many of the leading materials science journals and his research has been recognized with several external grants. Craft has also done research related to the use of recycled plastics in the preparation of polymer concrete.
