研究领域
The Farnaby group studies the fundamental science and applications of f-element chemistry. These elements have unique properties with wide application in materials science and are a critical resource in low-carbon and renewable energy technologies. To develop future energy materials, there is a need for ‘bottom-up’ synthetic routes and better understanding of structure/property/function relationships. Our interest is in the synthesis of complex multi-metallic lanthanide and actinide systems from organometallic building-blocks.
