I attained a first class BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from University College London. I initially worked as a Podiatrist in the NHS and then began my academic career in 2000 at UCL before joining UEL in 2003. I have a Masters in Research and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I am a member of the Society of Chirpodists and Podiatrists and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

As programme leader I am responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of the undergraduate programme.

My areas of special interest are the diabetic foot, vascular assessment and pathology, and biomechanical foot characteristics in multi-ethic populations.
