I am a physiotherapist and have worked at UEL since 2001. My research interests are Community Based Rehabilitation, Qualitative Research Methodologies and Cultural Competency in Practice. My recently Published book entitled 'Disability and Culture: an International and Inter professional perspective' details some of my doctoral research findings. I am the Module Leader for Foundations to Practice and also teach on other modules including Cardiopulmonary Health and Foundations to Research.

I am presently involved in a Community Project in Newham to establish an online portal for resources for refugees, migrants, asylum seekers and homeless people. I liaise with a number of community groups in Newham.
