个人简介
I am a Research Fellow working with Professor Iain Crombie and Dr Linda Irvine in the Division of Biomedical Science and Public Health. I have recently completed a Ph.D in psychology from the University of Strathclyde where I researched methodological and practical issues to do with the ‘Social norms’ approach to alcohol misuse prevention. Prior to my doctoral research I completed an undergraduate degree and a Masters in Research Methods, both in psychology. I was appointed to my current post at the University of Dundee in January 2012 to work on a programme of research developing interventions to prevent and reduce alcohol problems. My work here in Dundee is supported by grants awarded to Professor Iain Crombie and Dr Linda Irvine by the Scottish Funding Council and Medical Research Council (National Prevention Research Initiative). The former involves collaboration with colleagues from the Scottish School of Public Health Research (Universities of Dundee, St Andrews, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow) of which I am also a member of the Knowledge Exchange Group.
