Prof Bond joined the chemistry team at UCLan in 1995. Since joining the University he has contributed to the teaching of chemistry on a wide variety of courses, including chemistry, biology, environmental science, forensic science and pharmacy. In 2007 he was largely responsible for the re-launch of BSc (Hons) Chemistry at UCLan and was course leader from 2007 – 2009. In 2008 he took up the position as academic lead for the forensic sciences section of the School and in 2011 took over as acting associate head of School for the School of Forensic and Applied Sciences
