Kate's research interests include environmental aspects of the oil and gas industry (particularly environmental monitoring, policy and decommissioning) and Marine Spatial Planning; GIS and habitat mapping and Marine Protected Areas and Priority Marine Habitats. Kate has an offshore energy industry background with approximately 10 years' experience, working directly within the industry operators, consultancies and regulators. Kate is particularly interested in Knowledge Exchange between these industries and academia.
