I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Computer Science and a graduate research assistant in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I work under Dr.Krys Kochut, in the SENCe Lab (SEmantic iNformation and Computing) and my research interests include Ontologies and Semantic Web and in particular, Data Integraion using semantic technologies. Moreover, I am actively working in ESBG (Evolutionary Systems Biology Group) lab under Dr. Kannan, on the development, maintenance and applications of ProKinO , Protein Kinase Ontology, a collaboration between departments of Computer Science and Biochemistry.

My research interests could be summarized as following, all in the context of Semantic Web Technologies: Domain-Specific Ontology Construction from Existing Sources : Creating one-stop-shop for a specific domain Query Federation and Semantic Data Integration knowledge Discovery using Integrated Ontologies Big Linked Data: Linked Open Data Discovery and Consumption
