Tamara Kayali Browne (née Kayali) completed her PhD at Cambridge University focusing on issues of control, responsibility and the self in depression. She then convened and lectured Bioethics at Sydney University before undertaking a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Novel Tech Ethics, Dalhousie University, Canada. In 2013 she was appointed to a lectureship at the ANU.
