Yangzhi Zhu is currently an Assistant Professor at the Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation (TIBI). He was previously a postdoctoral researcher in the Nanoengineering department at the University of California, San Diego in 2020. He received his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside in 2019.

His recent work focuses on soft materials, and wearable bioelectronics for diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
