Charles Millward is from Sussex. He became aware of Osteopathy at a young age as his parents were regularly treated with Osteopathy, from there Charles naturally gravitated towards the profession. He attended The British College of Osteopathic Medicine which fitted with his beliefs of Naturopathy, an established philosophy and holistic healthcare system that recognises the healing power of nature. Charles engages with Year 2 Osteopathic skills. These students are just discovering their ideas on what Osteopathy is for them and he believes in nurturing this discovery. He also supervises dissertations and provides mentorship to students at the University’s Osteopathy Clinics. The application of classical Osteopathy and it’s validation within modern Osteopathy is one of his main research interests. Outside of University, Charles runs 2 successful practices in Barry & Cowbridge as well as staying active in a range of activities from golf, running and cycling to surfing and paddle-boarding. He is also an active member of the South Wales Osteopathic Society.
