Dr Redfearn is a cardiologist specialising in electrophysiology, the treatment of arrhythmia. His has particular expertise in catheter ablation of complex arrhythmia. He holds a doctorate degree in Medicine and is cross-appointed with the School of Computing and the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences. He is the Director of the Heart Rhythm Service at Kingston General Hospital. His research interests include catheter ablation and improved non-invasive diagnostic tools through enhanced ECG interpretation. His research lab focuses on novel algorithm development and electrogram analysis. Clinical work includes optimal RV lead placement in CRT.
