Dr. Johanna Murphy is a general internist specializing in the care of complex medical patients in the academic teaching environment. She is the Program Director for the General Internal Medicine Fellowship Program, and also has an interest in optimizing health care delivery and medical education through patient safety and knowledge translation initiatives, including simulation and the Choosing Wisely Canada campaign. Dr. Murphy trained in Toronto, and then worked in community internal medicine in Nova Scotia, where she was the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and ICU before returning to academic medicine here at Queen's.
