Wnt signaling cascades initiated by the extracellular calcium-sensing receptor the intestinal (CaSR) We study how the extracellular calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) mediates communi- cation between intestinal epithelia and sub-epithelial myofibroblasts. We are defining the signaling cascades of CaSR-mediated Wnt5a, Dkk-1, LRP6, and Ror2 that stimulate intestinal differentiation in health, colon cancer and intestinal inflammation.
