Jonathan has been an Adjunct Instructor at Occidental College since 2007, having taught the summer Oceanology class, two iterations of Topics in Biology (Biology and Environmental Policy & Ecological Enhancement and Restoration), Biology Senior Seminar, and Biodiversity of Organizations of Marine Ecosystems. He has been working for the Vantuna Research Group at Occidental since 2006, originally as a Research Associate, and now as a Research Scientist. He has served as a data manager, lab manager, and field research leader, in addition to authoring or co-authoring over fifty technical reports and peer-reviewed publications while at Occidental.
