Dr Ugun- Klusek is a Research Fellow in Cell Biology. She also acts as a representative for Research Fellows and Associates in the School of Science and Technology.

Dr Ugun- Klusek is a member of Professor Ellen Billet's research team. Her research interests are involvement of enzyme monoamine oxidase in cell death / survival mechanisms and neurodegeneration. In addition she is interested in the application of proteomics techniques to study disease mechanisms
