Zhiyuan Huang is a postdoctoral fellow at NREL working with Matthew C. Beard. At NREL, Zhiyuan works on the fabrication of quantum dot two-dimensional arrays for optoelectronic and photovoltaic applications. He got his bachelor's degree from Jilin University in 2011 and a doctorate in chemistry from the University of California, Riverside in 2017 under the supervision of Ming Lee Tang, studying quantum dot triplet sensitization for photon upconversion.
