Sobhanzadeh, Mandana (Mandy)
Senior Laboratory Instructor
所属大学: Mount Royal University
所属学院: Department of Chemistry and Physics
个人简介
After finishing her Bachelors degree in Iran Mandy, left for New Zealand to continue her education and research. As a research assistant in New Zealand she became familiar with nanomaterials. She then moved to Malaysia to start her M.Sc. in Applied Physics with a research project in the nanotechnology field. During this time Mandy worked on the characterization and deposition of nanomaterials and carbon nanotubes (CNTs). In 2008 she came to Canada to begin work on a PhD on CNT field emitters as electron sources. In 2010 she joined the physics education research group at the University of Calgary and became the coordinator of the physics education research journal club. Over the last few years Mandy has learned new methods of teaching lectures and labs such as the "Labatorials" developed by the Physics Education Group at the University of Calgary. Mandy joined Mount Royal University on August 15, 2012 as a senior lab instructor.
研究领域
