B.S. Morehead State University; M.S. University of Georgia; Ph.D. University of Kentucky Kay Calhoun supervises labs and manages the chemical stockroom for the chemistry program. She also teaches chemistry labs and acts as chemical safety officer for the program. She is one of MSU's accomplished graduates, receiving her undergraduate degree in chemistry from MSU and her master's degree in chemistry at the University of Georgia. Calhoun received her Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Kentucky. Her interests are chemical instrumentation, chemical kinetics, lecture demonstrations, science fiction, cacti and foreign films - subtitled (not dubbed). Calhoun was been with the chemistry program at MSU since 1994.
