Working in partnership with Indigenous people on traditional medicinal plant knowledge for cultural preservation and drug discovery. Understanding the structure, function and inhibition of the medicinally important human enzyme indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase to rationally develop potent inhibitors. Understanding age-related nuclear cataract and human lens chemistry using synthesis and biological models.
