Dr. Shoham is a member of the Transplant and Oncology Infectious Diseases program at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His clinical, teaching and research focus is on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infections in highly immunocompromised patients (e.g. solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients and patients with cancer). His work centers on fungal, respiratory viral and antibiotic resistant bacterial infections in such patients.
