Dr. Roy is interested in the use of technology and web based learning tools in order to help students with their study of chemistry. Research interests include chemical education research and the use of writing in the discipline to help foster understanding as well as microwave chemistry for the development of biologically useful molecules such as antibiotics and anticancer drugs.
