Yifan obtained his B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. His past work focused on the development of bioanalytical chemistry for molecular analysis. In the Chilkoti lab, he will work in the interface between protein engineering and synthetic biology in collaboration with You Lab.
