Dr. Gosia Phillips is a neurologist specializing in sleep medicine and is an assistant professor of medicine at Dalhousie Universty. She obtained her MD at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, subsequent to a neuroscience degree at Dalhousie. She did postgraduate training at Columbia University and the University of Massachusetts specializing in neurology and completed a fellowship in sleep medicine at Harvard University. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, certified in neurology and sleep medicine. Dr. Phillips practises at the QEII Health Sciences Centre Sleep Disorders Clinic and is also medical director of MedSleep Atlantic.

Dr. Phillips’ research focuses on REM behaviour disorder. She is a co-investigator in a CIHR study on preclinical diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.
