个人简介

Dr. Laurie Mallery co-founded the Palliative and Therapeutic Harmonization program and clinic, which helps patients, families and health professionals consider the context of frailty when making medical decisions. Dr. Mallery graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981 and completed her residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital. She received her subspecialty training in geriatric medicine at Dalhousie University.

Dr. Mallery’s principal research interests are the assessment and treatment of dementia, program planning and exercise. She has developed a strengthening exercise program for older adults based on the principals of high-intensity resistance training and Pilates exercise.
