Dr. Desmond Leddin is a gastroenterologist and professor of medicine. He heads the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology policy committees on patient access to care and colon cancer screening, and the World Congress of Gastroenterology training committee. Earlier in his career, he was president of the Canadian Association of Gastroenterologists.

Dr. Leddin’s clinical and research interests are in colon cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and patient access to care.
