Dr. Kiberd is a nephrologist, professor of medicine and director of the renal and pancreas transplant programs at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. He received his MD and completed an internal medicine residency and clinical nephrology fellowship at the University of Toronto. He then completed a research fellowship at Stanford University in 1986.
