Dr. Dipchand is a professor of medicine and nephrologist. She is an awarded educator who has held significant administrative roles in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. She has received two Excellence in Education Awards from the Department of Medicine and a Certificate of Merit for outstanding contributions to medical education by the Canadian Association for Medical Education (2013).

Dr. Christine Dipchand has an interest in living kidney donation and is the medical director of the living kidney donation program of the multi-organ transplant program in Atlantic Canada. She participates in local, regional and national initiatives on this topic and is a member of a research group that focuses on living kidney donation.
