Dr. Jeff Dempster is an associate professor of medicine. A graduate of McMaster University and the University of Toronto, he returned to residency after 14 years in general obstetrics and gynaecology practice to complete a year of added competence in palliative medicine at Dalhousie University. He has assumed a lead role in quality initiatives in the division and provides consultative palliative care service as part of the Integrated Palliative Care Service.
