Dr. Bakowsky is a rheumatologist, associate professor of medicine and interim division head and chief of the Division of Rheumatology. He obtained his MD from Queen's University and then pursued postgraduate medical training in internal medicine and rheumatology at Dalhousie University. Dr. Bakowsky is currently the MSK-Derm unit head in the Med 2 curriculum, the division’s undergraduate medicine representative and chair of the Department of Medicine’s grand rounds committee.
