I have been a medical sonographer for some 20+ years now, having qualified as a diagnostic radiographer prior to that. I have worked in both the public and private sector in Queensland and Victoria mainly. My roles have included Chief Radiographer and Chief Sonographer. I have been privileged to tutor a number of sonography students in the workplace from beginning to qualified sonographers. I have taught as a lecturer at the University of South Australia in the post-graduate Medical Sonography program, and also as a school teacher for 3 years. My qualifications include a Masters Degree by Research in Medical Sonography, a Post-Graduate Bachelor of Education, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography, and a Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography. I am studying for a PhD on the topic of sonography of hernia of the male inguinal canal
