Claudette Taylor is an Associate Professor of Nursing. She received her BBA from Cape Breton University (formerly UCCB), her BN from Athabasca University, her MN from Dalhousie University and is a Registered Nurse. Her areas of interest include: Palliative Care, Critical Care (ICU, CCU, Emergency) and Oncology. Claudette has a PhD from the University of Alberta. The title of her dissertation was “An Exploratory Study of Sleep-Wake Disturbances in Advanced Lung Cancer Patients”. Her research interests include sleep as a concept, its role in health and illness, and end-of-life care issues.
